When my three older kids were younger, they spent a lot of time outside, either in our pool or playing. We had a trampoline, a huge playset my mom bought them, and fun assorted outside toys like a pogo stick (their friends loved it!)
They also did sports in rotation (soccer, flag football, and basketball) and rode their bikes with their friends.
Our two younger kids also love to play outside!🙂 They love to pool as much as the older ones did, and we recently bought a new trampoline.

I’m not sure where I stumbled upon 1000 Hours Outside but I thought it would be a fun way to track our outdoor exploring and playtime. This fun challenge was created by Ginny a homeschooling mom from Michigan. You can read more about her, the challenge and print out some cute trackers at her site.
