Living in Florida, the littles don’t get a chance to see snow like my husband and I did since we’re from Brooklyn. When I saw a snow-making kit on Amazon, I thought they would enjoy it and of course, I was right! It was extremely reasonably priced and I will definitely buy it again as soon as we finish this box. Snow Making Kit
This snow-making kit came with everything we needed need. There were no extra supplies or ingredients to purchase. All you need to do is add water to the instant snow powder!
To give you an idea of how much it makes, in the photo below you’ll see how much powder came with the kit and how much snow was made from that small amount of powder.
I made enough for them to play with their animals in a bin. After about 20 minutes it started getting slushy (like real snow would) so we made more. I only made a small amount first because I wasn’t sure how much it would expand.
Not only did it look like snow, it felt like snow! They had a blast!
We used about a third of the bag and it made tons of snow! This was an incredibly low-cost sensory activity. The clean-up took seconds since we played outside.
