We visited The Florida Aquarium with our children in 2007, so when our four-year-old granddaughter wanted to go we knew she would enjoy it!
Since they’re only open until 5:00 PM and it’s about a 90-minute ride to Tampa, we got an early start on the day. First things first, a selfie with my girl.
The Florida Aquarium staff works to protect and restore animal species and their habitats They focus on three animals that play enormous roles in managing our ocean.
Sea turtles — because they are barometers of marine health;
Sharks — because they are essential top-down managers of marine ecosystems; and
Coral — because they are building blocks of marine habitats and oxygen-giving marine organisms.
