Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe
I admit it. I’m not much of a cook. My husband and youngest daughter are the chefs in the family.
Let’s put it this way – I saw a wall plaque that describes me perfectly. It said “I only have a kitchen because it came with the house” LOL.
Even with my lack of skills in the kitchen, there is one thing I make that everyone seems to rave about and that’s my World Famous Tuna Pasta Salad. I added “world-famous” as a joke, because I have friends and family all over who love this! For someone who is not a cook, it’s quite a compliment.
This easy tuna pasta salad recipe is perfect for the beach, pot luck, or a BBQ. Enjoy it for lunch at home or on the go.
The best tuna pasta salad you'll ever have! It's perfect for the beach, pot luck or a BBQ. Enjoy it for lunch, at home, or on the go. Cook pasta as directed and set aside to cool in a large bowl. Add some Creamy Italian dressing to keep it from sticking. Add cucumbers and some more Creamy Italian Dressing. Mix well. Add tuna fish and a little more Creamy Italian Dressing. Mix well. Add 1-2 tables spoons of mayonnaise and mix well. Add tomatoes (I always add them at the end) and mix. Taste and see if it needs more veggies, mayo, or dressing. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator. After it comes out, you may need to add a little more dressing and mix before serving.Joanne's World Famous Tuna Pasta Salad

Please tell me if you make it and what you thought of it. If you substitute anything or change it, I’d love to hear what you did. I’ve tried other vegetables, but tomatoes and cucumbers have become our go-to. Enjoy!
Interesting stuff! I’ll probably share this with some of my friends. Thanks again for posting it.
It seems like ages since I’ve had a good pasta salad. Come on Spring!
I love tuna! The problem is my daughter is allergic. This might have to be a lunch idea one day.
Love that you added tuna to your pasta salad, sounds great!
That’s funny. I love cucumbers and tomato in pasta salad! And tuna rounds it out and makes it a complete meal! Yay!

just started following your blog i love it so many good ideas
Sounds good to me–but perhaps I would use less of the mayo and dressing. Although I have added a can of tuna to pasta (while it is still hot and eaten it that way-I never thought of adding cukes and tomatoes–thank you for the wonderful idea!
My family doesn’t eat tuna 🙁 But I love it, so I’m going to make this for lunch for me one day!
Hope you enjoy it Tammy!
I made this tonight and it was very tasty. The hubby even said to make it again. We ate it a little warm but next time I think I will chill it before serving.
Thanks! A perfect Lenten recipe.

Whoo hoo!!! Thanks for letting me know. You rock!! I’m glad you liked it. Yes, it’s much better cold.
This sounds SO delicious.
I would love to eat this for lunch in the summer (or even now since we live in the best state in the union, don’t we girlfriend!)… but I’d make it with canned chicken for hubby, he wont eat fish.
I also LOVE Hellmann’s and BB prime fillet solid white albacore in water – it is the best.
Thanks for the recipe… I’m gonna Pin it.
Yup – living in Florida beats shoveling snow any day! I did that for toooooo long – lol.
Chicken would work perfectly in this!
