This post is part of the Landlord Life series. My rental is a single family home in North Central Florida. I’ll share the mistakes I made, and the lessons I learned in each post. I personally have learned a great deal from fellow landlords and I hope to pay it forward by sharing my stories and advice.
In my previous Landlord Life post, I introduced you to Mr. & Mrs. Bug-infested. After we finally got the house cleaned up and exterminated (twice!) we started renovating to get it ready for the next tenants.
The main projects were flooring, windows, and painting.
Property stats:
– Single-family concrete block home
– 3/2 split plan
– 1,200 square feet + attached garage + screened in patio in the back
– Enclosed back yard
– Home sits on a quarter acre lot
– Built in 2001
