Simple summer days – don’t you love them? Easy meals, relaxed fun with family and friends, and a carefree feeling in the air.
Here are a few outdoor summer games for your family to try. You probably have most, if not all of the items needed. Get your camera out and grab a few silly shots!

Outdoor Summer Games
1. Noodle Toss
Hang a hula hoop from a tree and see who can toss a pool noodle through it. Have a starting line. When you get the noodle through, you take a step back.
The player who is the farthest away is the winner.
2. Rubber Band Hunt (good for the beach)
Hide an odd number of colored rubber bands in a pile of sand. Give each player a chopstick. On the word “Go”, each player uses their chopstick to dig through the sand to skewer the rubber band.
The one with the most is the winner.
3. Relay In The Rain
Form two teams with an equal number of players. Each team gets two buckets, one empty and one full of water, and a plastic cup with three holes in the side. Set the empty bucket near the finish line. At the word “Go”, the first player from each team fills the cup with water, holds it over his head, and runs to the finish line.
When he reaches the bucket, he dumps the rest of the water in it, runs back to his team and the next player goes.
The team with the most water in their finish line bucket is the winner.
Love the idea of Relay in the Rain!
What fun easy games. Thanks for sharing!
Great post! I gonna try these out! 🙂
How cute! My kids are older but I know they’d love the noodle toss idea.
Love the relay in the rain! My boys love to play outside when it rains, so naturally when I saw that title I thought it was actually in the rain, which could work! During the summer, unless you live in Fl like I do!
