For today’s Wordless Wednesday, I want to introduce you to my iguana Buddie. She’s a 19-year-old (she’ll be 19 on the 4th of July) female green iguana. We’ve had her since she was a year old and she’s had quite the adventurous life.
Bloggers! Do you have a Wordless Wednesday post this week?
Add the link below so we can visit!
In this photo, the surgeon is showing us Buddie’s stitches after her spaying.
Oh My Gosh that is the biggest iguana I have ever see, however, m son had one he raised and ended up finding him a home in a pet store where the owner let him roam freely. I have often wondered if he is still there.
Joanne, please stop by and share on the #OMHGWW this week!!
Hope you enjoy your week!

Hey Buddie, we share a birthday month lol..Joan wow that is awesome that you had the iguana for that long. I trust and believe that she is part of your family, so awesome again “an iguana” wow,
We have had dogs, cats and fish but never an iquana. amazing that she is that old. Wishing her a happy bday.
My OG Buddie has been one long adventure for our family. I love having her as part of the family.
She is huge! I would be scared to death to hold her:)
I will have to show my son these pictures! He’s been begging for a pet (but doesn’t want a dog) and would love one of these.
My kids would love to have an iguana. What a fun pet!
WOW, she looks HUGE! She has outlived my cat. I think we had her 15 years. My husband would be so jealous.
wow 19? I know they live a long time but wow!
They’re all great photos, but that last one is amazing! I knew iguanas lived a long time, but wow 19 years! That’s incredible!
19 years is a long time to have a pet! My children would love to meet him!
Oh wow, amazing photos! And happy 19th Birthday Buddie! 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing with OMHG Wordless Wednesday Link Party.. Have a great day, co-host Evija @Fromevijawithlove x
She looks so amazing! Happy birthday too =)
Wow! That is one huge lizard!!!! I would love to see her eating for real!
Man on man I would be so freaked out to have that in my home. But not my men they would be overjoyed. I do have a WW and I hope you will stop by as well as I love making new friends.
Oh my goodness!! Hes beautiful. I use to have an Iguana that I rescued from a rescue centre, sadly he died after 3 years. He was very poorly when I adopted him and I knew he wouldn’t live as long as he should (previous owners treated him more like a dog) but he had a really good life with me, he was spoiled rotten. I miss him SO much.
I enjoyed this post very much! Thanks for sharing.
Such great photos, especially that last one. But me, I would prefer a dog. Just saying.
Interesting but if you come visit me please dont bring her!
Such great photo’s of buddie, she looks great!
Wow! brilliant photos 🙂
She looks good and happy in her life.
