My Advice For Self-Improvement in 2025

Before this year ends, I’d like to give you just one piece of advice I’ve followed my whole life.
⭐️ What society and people generally think of your choices and how you live your life is meaningless.
It takes a certain level of self-confidence to achieve that, so if you’re not confident in your ability and decisions, work on them.
There are very, very few people in this world that I care what they think about how I live my life. One of them was my mother. I cared very much what she thought. The other is my husband. I care what he thinks, but not at my mother’s level.
I’ve been a carnivore and a vegetarian.
I’ve been agnostic and a practicing Catholic.
I’ve lived in the North and the South.
I adopted all five of my kids.
I have a different skin color than some of my kids.
My older kids were in public school and then unschooled.
My younger kids have never been to school and have always been homeschooled.
Over the years, I’ve voted Democrat, Libertarian and Republican.
If I made decisions based on what others thought, I wouldn’t have done most of those things because everyone has an opinion on those topics.
So, as 2025 starts, don’t make useless resolutions. Instead, work on your self-confidence, don’t second-guess yourself, and tune out other people’s opinions.
You’ll be happier for it.
Happy 2025. 🙂
