No make-up, hair needs to be colored, but life is good and I’m grateful!
Hello friends! I haven’t posted on Life With Joanne since 2021, and mostly sporadic right before then. A good portion of my adoption, unschooling, family activities and printables posts still bring readers, but I haven’t posted new content in a while.
If you know me offline or through social media then you know my husband Billy and & adopted out two young grandchildren. They’ve been with us since they were one and two years old. We got custody soon after and then formally adopted them in 2021 . As of this post, they’re seven and eight.
So that’s where I’ve been – raising my two young, beautiful, wonderful, energetic, joyful, son and daughter.
Our family has changed since I last posted. On May 15, 2023 our 26 year old iguana Buddie passed away.
We miss you green girl. 💚

I am going to slowing come back to writing here again, on my usual topics:
1. Unschooling, (now the second time around)
2. General homeschooling advice, ideas, printables and fun units.
3. Adoption (now the second time around again)
4. General family fun and with an emphasis on Florida, and NYC when we can get back home (it’s been a while).
I also still have some posts from my previous blogs, An Unschooling Life and Forever Parents left to import here, although most of them have already been moved.
