These delicious homemade frozen treats are perfect for anytime of year, but especially in the summer. They’re easy to make and your family will love them. Make a bunch to keep on hand.

Homemade Frozen Treats

Homemade Ice Pops
One of the easiest treats to make is an ice pop also known as a popsicle depending on where you live.

All you need is some disposable plastic cups, wooden sticks, and a range of different ingredients. If you want fruity pops, stock up on fruit juices of your choice and try adding some fresh fruit chunks.

Start with some sliced strawberries and bananas set in orange juice.
Place them in the freezer until the liquid starts to set and then insert a wooden stick into each one.
Put them back in the freezer and let them set for about four hours. When it comes to the time to take them out, don’t pull on the stick – you don’t want to lose it!
Push the bottom of the cup until the ice pop slides out.

Homemade Frozen Yogurt
Another fantastic freezer recipe is a fro-yo bar.

You’ll need two flavors of yogurt, a can of condensed milk, some dried fruit and a freezer-safe container.
Split the condensed milk into two bowls.
Then mix one flavor of yogurt into each.
Pour one of these bowls into the bottom of the container, sprinkle the dried fruit over the top of it, and then pour on the second flavor.
To give it an extra crunch, you could try adding cereal to the dried fruit layer.
Freeze this for 8 hours until it’s completely firm, and then slice it into snack-sized bars.

Love these ideas! My kids are popsicle fiends in the summer, and I bet they’d enjoy these.
