I was going to hit up some local thrift store to see what kind of homeschool deals I could find but they were closed! Since I was out anyway, I stopped at my local Dollar Tree to see what homeschool supply items they had and I’m so glad I decided to stop there!
I usually buy workbooks at Dollar Tree but this time I skipped them and bought some other items I thought the kids would enjoy. I got some great Dollar Tree deals to share with you.
Best Dollar Tree Finds For Homeschool
Feed The Monster Alphabet Game – This looked cute so I bought it. I haven’t opened it yet but when I do I’ll share it on Instagram.
Create A Story Dice – Another cute kit that we haven’t opened yet. I bought two of these, one for each child.
Inflatable Globe -I almost didn’t buy this because we bought one last year and it didn’t hold up. They’ve been interested in maps so I thought they would enjoy this again.
States And Symbols: Color The USA – I bought this because of their recent interest in maps, especially the USA map.
Crayola Painting Set – Loralye asked me for paints the other day so when I saw this I picked it up for her. She loves baby animals too! When we opened it we saw the pink paint was dried out and the yellow was almost there.
Solar System Mobile – Loralye (6 years old, 1st grade) is very interested in space. I collected all our space books for our morning basket and we’re working on a solar system lapbook. This was the favorite from my Dollar Tree haul and I bought one for each of them. They’ve already started coloring in the planets.
Early Learning (K-1) and Primary Learning Sight Word Reproducibles (Grade 2-3) – I almost didn’t buy these because I told myself not to buy anymore workbooks at Dollar Tree. This is actually not bound, it’s loose reproducible sheets so I let myself slide. lol
Half-Size Construction Paper, Crayon and Pencil Sharpener, Dice Game, Grow a Crystal Tree – I just bought a bunch of construction paper but these are the half-size sheets which we use sometimes more than full size sheets. We did the crystal tree but it didn’t work. It formed teeny tiny crystals on the edge of the branches but that was it. That’s okay. I ordered a volcano kit from Amazon. lol
