I wanted to share this video I took at The Butterfly Rainforest in Florida, located at the Museum of Natural History.

Butterfly Rainforest in Florida

The Butterfly Rainforest in Gainesville, Florida is a walk-through living exhibit in an ever-changing ecosystem showcasing butterflies, birds, turtles, fish, orchids, and hundreds of other vibrant flowering plants. The 6,400-square-foot screened, outdoor enclosure features hundreds of free-flying butterflies from around the world.

We’ve visited many times with our family, and also with friends from our homeschool group. It’s a beautiful sanctuary and the museum does a wonderful job educating the community about these amazing creatures.

Oh how I love butterflies. Maybe someday I will be able to visit.
