Joanne and her husband Billy wanted children, but Joanne was in her 30s when they married and did not want to go through a slew of immediate pregnancies. So, they began looking into adopting. When a counselor suggested that they consider adopting a group of siblings, they decided that is what they wanted to do.
We visited The Florida Aquarium with our children in 2007, so when our four-year-old granddaughter wanted to go we knew she would enjoy it! Since they’re only open until 5:00 PM and it’s about a 90-minute ride to Tampa, we got an early start on the day. First things first, a selfie with my girl….
I believe that people are born with an innate desire to learn. Look at a baby eager to move, reach, bat a toy, roll over, sit up, babble, crawl, walk, talk etc… They are curious about their world and want to navigate it.
