Have you ever been to a wax museum? I find them both creepy and fascinating at the same time. If you get a chance to visit Madame Tussauds, please go. There are locations worldwide but even if you don’t live near one, try to fit it into your next vacation if you can. These photos are from our visit to Madame Tussauds in Manhattan in Times Square.
Thanks so much for linking up at the #UnlimitedMonthlyLinkParty 3! Shared.
I’ve been to the one in London a few times. Every time one of my family members come for a visit that’s one of the places they want to see. I personally love going – I love the amount of detail that goes into making one of those figures as it is so fascinating. The one in London has a dungeon with very creepy figures that was eerily life-like… Would love to see a Madame Tussaud’s in a different city. xx
I’ve never been to a wax museum. I’m just not sure about going to one, because they do seem creepy.
I went to the one in vegas a couple years back and it was fun and creepy all in one.
It was kind of cool though because I would never have a chance to stand beside her in real life.
This was really fun to see because we just went to the one and DC and had the best time there. So it was interesting to find out what the one in NYC has to offer–the DC one is, appropriately, full of mostly historical figures.
I was at Madame Tussauds in LA once. It was about 20 years ago when I was a late teen. It was awesome and a bit creepy at the same time. My favorite at the time was Bruce Springsteen. So realistic! I bet it’s changed so much by now!
I think they’re soooo creepy… I always wonder too, like… who invented this idea? Who was the person who was like, “oh, I know! Let’s make REALISTIC CREEPY LIFE SIZED STATUES OF ( mostly-dead ) PEOPLE OUT OF WAX!!!”
I’m so with you! They’re both creepy and fascinating at the same time! I’m wondering, is the hair wax too? How do they do that? I’ve always wanted to go to a wax museum but my husband never wants to. I think he’s scared. haha
Thank you for hosting!! Have a great night! xx
We had a great time looking at all the statues. There were some that were creepy and there were others like the Iron Man Statue they had there
I have never been, but I would love to go. From pictures the wax figures look real beautiful and well made. They might look creepy in person though.
I live nearby but I haven’t been here :)… I’ve seen the in in Amsterdam, though..and liking it 🙂
I thought I added a comment, but not seeing it or a comment about it I thought I’d put another just in case. I love wax museums, but yes they are quite eerie! Have a great day!
It was so cool being there, we had so much funny posing with them .
Yes, I’ve seen one in my lifetime, but they are sooooooo cool, but on the same token they are truly creepy!!!
I’ve never been to a Madame Tussauds before – but I walk by the one in NYC all the time. I want to take the kids but not sure if they’ll be freaked out because they are so lifelike. I think it would be a fun family outing!
I remember going to the Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park, CA as a little girl. I can still picture The Three Stooges and the Little Rascals.
Very nice. I need to go to the Wax Museum in San Francisco.

We went to a wax museum on Prince Edward Island. It was fun. These are amazing wax figures. Now that my kids are older, they would love to visit Madame Tussauds!
I love Madame Tussauds wax museums. I haven’t been to the NYC one yet but I have been to ones in Niagara Falls and Vegas.
I have the same fascination. I both love them and am slightly creeped out! Those are really good. I especially like the Elton John.

I did get to go to one in Dallas and it WAS creepy and fascinating!
Wow what a neat place to visit. They all look so real, amazing! I like how they even included items to go with it like Andy Warhol art with him.
My dream to go there! Amazing skills and craftmanship to the people who makes this statues!
I like Madame Tussauds haven’t been there for ages here in London although some of the figures do look eerie lol ..these look quite good 🙂
Have a waxtastic day 🙂
