Ocala has a lot of dining options so when my husband Billy and I are out shopping or doing errands, it’s hard to choose a place for lunch. We chose Red Robin because Billy was craving one of their burgers and since we had been there once before I know they had choices for vegetarians/pescatarians like myself.

I always share my food photos on social media, and my friends just “eat it up”. (lol). On Twitter, Red Robin even replied to my tweet that it was making them hungry.

Billy ordered what he went there for; their Whiskey River BBQ Burger, which features Bourbon-infused Whiskey River® BBQ Sauce, onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. He also ordered the bottomless fries with it.
I had something different than the last time we ate there. I ordered the Crispy Arctic Cod Sandwich, which is hand-battered cod fillets with shredded cabbage, tomatoes, pickles and tartar sauce. I asked for no cabbage on mine and I also substituted the fries for cole slaw. Yes, I only like cabbage when it’s called cole slaw. lol It was delicious and I will definitely order it again. Next time I’m going to ask for the tartar sauce on the side because since the cod was in 3 pieces, the sauce kind of made the roll fall apart while I was holding it.
We really enjoy eating at the Red Robin in Ocala. If you have one near you, or are ever in the area I highly recommend it!
