Homemade shake and bake recipe

If you’re looking for a copycat homemade Shake And Bake recipe, here’s one to try. It’s a great alternative when your store is out of stock or you simply want a healthier, more tasty version.

It equals about 20 store-bought packets and it’s super inexpensive, especially if you have most of the ingredients on hand already.

Copycat Shake and Bake

  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 cups ground crackers (you can substitute panko bread crumbs
  • 4 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tsp onion powder
  • 3 Tbsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Mix everything well.
Put your DIY shake and bake mixture in a tightly covered container.
Store it in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!

That actually sounds pretty good – and versatile. You could add other spices to that as well – or even your favorite crackers
