Corners Of My Home: Backyard Fountain & Statues

Corners of my home will be a not-so-regular feature on my blog. I’d love to check out a corner of your home, so feel free to leave your link in a comment below.

Corners Of My Home: Backyard Fountain

This beautiful fountain came with our home when we bought it. I’ve loved it from the second I saw it. It reminds me of the water bearer symbol for Aquarius, which I am. The entire thing is made of concrete and is very heavy and sturdy. Sometimes we put food coloring in the water and it looks awesome!

The boy and girl swinging, and the cherub laying down belonged to my mother and they are both very special to me. She loved her outdoor spaces and spent more time there than indoors. I gave her the boy and girl for mother’s day so it means a lot to me to now have it in my own yard.

The fairy gazing ball is such a cute piece. I picked it up a few years back but the ball broke so I had to replace it.

Thanks for stopping by.

What a great feature to offer a glimpse of your home Joanne! I have a backyard fountain too but I do not get to enjoy it as often as I would like. There is just something about being near water that I love!

  6. Those are all so pretty. My husband is an Aquarius and he loves fountains, too. Hmm, guess there’s something to that after all!
